Gayle Friesen

In enters Isabel who throws a spanner in the works. She doesn't care about what others think and for Anna who's been in Zoe's shadow so long finds Isabel liberating. Meeka says:
This was a good coming of age book. Having to choose between the old or the new and finding yourself wanting it all. A hard decision, and not the easy way Friesen makes it out to be. A good read, but rathering disappointing as teens cut the ties more easily than the rest of us.
